2 Monthiversary

I'm getting better at posting in a timely manner...Tristan turned 2 months yesterday. He is such a sweet baby...you can already tell he is much more laid back than TJ, which is probably a good thing for all of our sanities!

Tristan is now 12 lbs 5 oz and 23 inches long. He no longer can wear his 0-3 month clothes...SAD!

I'm going to keep trying each month to get a picture of both boys...these are my 2 month attempts... I guess there's always next month, huh?!

Bumper Cars

For those of you that think this is a Bumper Car...

think again...

This is a Bumper Car

And that, on his face, is what happens when you play bumper cars! This is several days after putting neosporin on it! Thomas & TJ race each morning on the way to TJ's class. This particular day, they played "bumper cars." In case you aren't up to speed on the game of "bumper cars," it is played by running and bumping into each other to try to knock the other over. Anyway, Thomas swears that he didn't "bump" into TJ to cause this traffic accident, but that he tripped on his own (over a root or something he claimed), and face planted into a tree! His cheek was gashed, chin was scratched, and then a minute later his nose started gushing blood. Just thought I would share the joys of now having 3 boys to take care of (yes, 3...Thomas, TJ, & Tristan)!

One Monthiversary

I guess now that Tristan will be 7 weeks old tomorrow, I can post about his one month birthday or monthiversary. My sister got me these cute onesies called "Monthiversary Onesies" for a baby gift...and they are so cool. There are 12 of them with different pictures on the front. You are supposed to put them in the onesie on their monthiversary and take a picture with the same background each month to show how much they have changed and grown since the previous month. And so I did. I tried to get one with TJ and Tristan, but taking a picture of 2 boys is much more difficult than one! Here are the best 2 I got...and I say "best" in the loosest since of the word.

In celebration, TJ and I made brownies and ate them, and Tristan drank his milk!

STATS: The following Monday Tristan had his 1 month Dr.'s appointment. I couldn't believe how much weight he had gained! He was 10 lbs even!!! That's over 2 pounds in 3 weeks! He had grown 1/2" in length to 21 1/2".

Sorry for the blogging inconsistency...I'll try to do better!
