10th Monthiversary
Here is a picture of Tristan in his high chair...his "favorite spot" in the house! Big Baby loves to eat...every and anything! You can't see in the picture, but his high chair has wheels. In order to get his hungriness across to me (as if the screaming and ranting isn't enough), he has now learned how to thrash his body back and forth to make the chair roll into my chair. Bumping me over, and over, and over, until I finally give him what he wants!
It has become increasingly difficult to get a good picture of Tristan...he's everywhere, but I continue to try...here are my best efforts:

Thankful Thursday

Seeing a horrific car accident this morning on the Interstate on my way into work, and then a second accident before I got to my exit; and after keeping up with an old friend who's father is battling with a very rare form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, makes me stop to think how very blessed I am, and how many things I have to be thankful for.
First and foremost, I am thankful for a loving and gracious God, that forgives me when I forget to thank him for my many blessings each, and every day.
I am thankful that when I am up all night with a screaming, sick baby...that it's only an ear infection that will get better in a few days.
I am thankful that for many months out of the year, my husband comes home late...because he has a wonderful job, and more importantly, he loves it.
I am thankful that TJ asks 1000 questions each day...because he is so smart and interested in learning.
I am thankful that my floor has cracker crumbs all over it, and I vacuum every other day...because Tristan is a healthy baby and LOVES to eat.
I am thankful that TJ has holes in every.pair.of.pants that he owns (other than the ones I just bought a few weeks ago. Give them time.)...because that means he is still my little boy who loves to play.
I am going to make it my 2nd New Year's Resolution (yea, a month late), to rejoice in the little, mundane things in life that seem difficult, or time consuming, or cost money at the time, because life is precious and too short to not enjoy and be grateful for ALL of it.
